Vineyard Notes:
Surrounding Jim and Pam Lambert's house are three small patches of vines that were the first plantings on the property. These vines were restructured over 3 years to grow in the natural style best suited to each of the individual varieties.
Production Notes:
Each variety was harvested and processed separately, and only blended when each component could be evaluated on how much dominance was required from each grape.
Winemaker Notes:
After blending, the wine spent 6 months in barrels used for the Family Tree Shiraz. The wine is soft and harmonious with a lovely vanillin character. Medium in weight and can be enjoyed with any type of food, by the glass, or, by the BOTTLE.
Food Pairing:
Any foods, BBQ, meat, nibbles.
